Mission Statement

Calvary Christian Family (CCF) is a home for orphaned and destitute Haitian boys located in Port-au-Prince (PAP), Haiti.

This home serves two principle objectives:

  1. To save some of these children who might otherwise die on the streets from starvation and disease or else might become victims of perverse child slave practices.
  2. To produce men qualified to be leaders in Haitian society based upon a solid academic education as well as a foundational and relational knowledge of God.

Calvary Christian Family is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Port au Prince, supported by Calvary Chapel In The City, to destitute orphans in Haiti. CCF currently houses twelve children and is located in Delmas, an upper section of Port-au-Prince, a short drive from Calvary Chapel Port-au-Prince. Rather than modeling other orphanages, it is our heart to raise these children in a CHRISTIAN FAMILY – a place where orphans, as soon as they enter the front door, are no longer orphans. The day-to-day needs of the ministry are being met by Haitian nationals from Calvary Chapel Port-au-Prince, who are employed in positions of teaching, administration, cooking, cleaning, and grounds-keeping. Calvary Chapel In The City in Boston provides state-side administrative and other support to CCF and representatives of the church make routine trips to Haiti to serve the needs of the orphanage. It is our hope that this may be the first of more such Christian homes in Haiti.
